Ten years ago the author followed her heart to Arizona and was captivated by the indigo blue skies and vast jagged, untamed vistas. Enthralled by the breathtaking extremes from sunrise to sunset she was inspired to write. Thus the commencement of her love affair with Arizona. Her initial poems were to become songs; and for a period of time, she was classified as a ‘cowgirl poet'. She has published two anthologies of poetry. ‘Arizona’s Trails of Magique’ capturing the unique beauty contained within the state of Arizona and sharing moments of emotional magic which hang so briefly in a moment of time. The second, ‘Riding the Ripples’, is an inspirational and thought-provoking collection of poetic prose exploring unpredictability of life. As an internationally known published poet in America, having been drawn into the combined complexities of writing and publishing she decided to extend her penmanship toward fiction. Another mountain to climb! ‘The Time Line’, is a romantic, mystery, suspense novel. It combines her imagination with travelling experiences. 'The Next Line' which is the second novel of a trilogy is now in print. As a published poet in America and the recipient of many awards, she has been drawn into the complexities of both writing and publishing. Her membership in literary organizations includes: The Arizona Poets Society, The National Library of Poetry, The International Society of Poets, Iliad Press, and National Authors' Registry. |
